8: Leadership Meeting

I tried to make the joke in this strip less about Cap and Sarge's conversation and more what's going on in the background. I'm not entirely sure I succeeded, mainly because a lot of times people read the dialogue expecting the joke to be there, and they miss the little details, making the joke fall flat. At any rate, some important information is dispensed here, such as Captain Richards' laid-back leadership style, and the fact that the unit was deployed to the field with a broken speeder bike.

Bad news, good news
Bad news is pretty obvious: I haven't updated in quite a while.
The good news, however, is that I've been collecting quite a few Lego sets in the interim, and so I intend to get started with things here again.
Also, as a result of taking a digital art class this past spring semester, I now have access to Illustrator, which should make things look MUCH better than Photoshop. (Hint: vector speech bubbles look far better than raster speech bubbles. Less pixelated.)

Yeah, yeah...
Okay, I haven't exactly stuck to my attempted twice a week schedule. The good news is that I've got fresh ideas for how to progress as well as some backstory I can finally expound upon in the future. So expect at least one update within the week...

The schedule from here...
I'm going to try for a twice-a-week schedule from here on out. These first several were already done, so I went ahead with a daily schedule for the batch, so there would at least be a fair-sized archive to start with. I've got scripts for the next several ready to go, so hopefully I can stick to the schedule enough to bump it up to three times a week after a time.
